CEBU CITY, Philippines – Cebu city government urges residents to undergo the rapid test.
Today is the last day of testing for all three cities, including Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu.
Cebu City lags behind its neighbors in achieving the number of people tested.
The city registered just 5,429 individuals from its target of more than 17,000.

City officer King Gealon is encouraging residents of Barangays Binaliw, Adlaon, Agsungot, Mabini, Sirao, Cambinocot, Tabunan, Bonbon, Paril, and Buhisan to undergo the test.
He said the city would need more volunteers to collect as many samples as possible for better data evaluation.
“Take advantage of this free trial,” said Gealon.
The city government has reminded residents that the test results can be used when they return to work once the enhanced community quarantine becomes a modified improved community quarantine.
The test results are expected to be released in the coming days, when the Health Department of the Health Department is also expected. have a recommendation for all three cities.
