Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, two British YouTubers, wanted to interview Baskin. They tricked Baskin into thinking they worked for Jimmy Fallon. Pieters and Manners told Baskin that Fallon would interview her through a Zoom conference call. To make him think he was talking to Fallon, they touched his snippets of the Fallon show.

Baskin talked about how his zoo is doing during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). She said the pandemic forced her to fire some of her staff. Some fans were sad to learn that Baskin might not be touring his zoo.

Baskin said: “Unfortunately, due to the loss of tourism revenue, we have had to lay off about half of our staff. Fortunately, all of our animal care is by volunteers, so the animals still receive their daily care, but it means we all have to work twice as long to make sure that all that happens. ” She added: “After COVID-19, I just don’t know if we’ll ever be able to tour again.”
