MANILA, Philippines – Butuan City-Uling Roasters roasters look to climb to the top of their third leg title win while targeting another in the fourth and final leg of Tuesday’s Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup with TM technology at the Inspire Academia de Deportes in Calamba, Laguna.
Relying on Franky Johnson’s latest heroic deeds, Butuan City surpassed Pasig-Sta. Lucia Realtors, 21-20, on Sunday to claim her first crown and the best purse worth P100,000.
It was the Roasters’ best performance after losing in the final in the opening game last Wednesday and the semifinals on Friday against the Sardines of the brand Zamboanga-Family, champion of legs 1 and 2.
