As fans wait patiently (or not so patiently) for BTS to release their new album. TO BE, which is scheduled to release on Friday, November 20, the group gave their ARMY fans something else to enjoy in the meantime. A short time ago, the septet re-released their 2014 EP Skool Luv Affair, which became known long before the band were as world famous as they are now. At that time, it did not have much commercial impact on the Billboard graphics, but now he has helped the group achieve something they had never achieved before in their time together.
Skool Luv Affair debuts in BillboardThis week’s Top Rap Albums chart, giving the septet its top spot on the genre-specific tally. Incredibly, despite the fact that at least some of their songs (and even entire collections) could reasonably be considered hip-hop or rap, the band has never appeared on any of the chart-topping companies that focus solely on the lengths that fit. under those labels.
This week, Skool Luv Affair is launched at no. 7th on the latest Top Rap Albums chart, right behind YoungBoy Never Broke Again Upper part and Post Malone’s Hollywood bleeding, two of the most successful rap albums of recent times. Impressively, the South Korean boy band sees their open set higher than new releases from artists like TI and Gucci Mane.
It remains incredibly rare for any artist acting primarily in a language other than English to reach Billboardrap and hip-hop charts, especially album-centric accounts. BTS is not alone in this feat, but it is one of the few acts outside the Western Hemisphere that has done so.
Skool Luv Affair was relaunched not too long ago, and all the fans who were quick to purchase the previously limited effort helped the title become a semi-surprise hit on several Billboard graphics. In addition to appearing on the Top Rap Albums chart for the first time, the item also debuts on the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales charts, and also returns to the World Albums chart.
