In his youth, Pacquiao enjoyed the opportunities that came his way. Pacquiao played openly, drank and played a womanizer during the early years of a professional career that saw him record knockout after knockout and award after award.
As Mike Tyson gradually disappeared from the spotlight, Pacquiao became one of the most recognizable boxers in the world. His reputation followed him wherever he went, from the boxing ring to a casino.

At one point in Manny Pacquiao’s life, he received a message that changed his future.
For the past decade, Pacquiao has talked about how religion changed his outlook on life. Pacquiao became a born-again Christian, was raised a Catholic, and left his vices behind.
In a 2014 interview with The Guardian, Pacquiao spoke about why he has invested so much time and effort in religion.
“People are surprised by the way my life has changed. All the running. In those days and times, he knew he could do whatever he wanted. But I changed when I heard the voice of God and I can testify that there is a God. I saw two angels, white wings, long and big. I saw paradise. God showed me the end of time. All of this happened in the last three years. This is how I changed my life. “
Pacquiao’s longtime coach, Freddie Roach, told The Guardian what the new Pacquiao looked like to him.
“He doesn’t party anymore, he doesn’t drink anymore. He’s a clean liver, he doesn’t fuck with girls anymore. And his wife is very happy about that, ”Roach said. “He is a better family man. So there are a lot of good things that go along with it.
“He was a pretty wild guy, he had the world by the balls,” added Roach. “Everything was available.”

Manny Pacquiao could return to the boxing ring much earlier than expected.
Pacquiao, who is currently a senator in the Philippines, teased a comeback attempt on social media last month. The legendary boxer tweeted on February 10 that “[t]The rain camp has begun. “
“I’m ready to get back in the ring and add more to my legacy in the sport of boxing,” Pacquiao tweeted. “Big news coming soon.”
Pacquiao, who is 62-7-2 with 39 knockouts, has not fought since defeating American boxer Keith Thurman in July 2019.
There has been no official update on Pacquiao’s return attempt as of publication.
