MANILA, Philippines – Bohol beauty Pauline Amelinckx won the most awards in the preliminaries of the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
At the event held in Baguio city on Friday, Amelinckx won four of the night’s nine awards, namely Miss Cetaphil Sun, Miss Creamsilk, Miss Downy Sweetheart and Most Beautiful Face Award.
Meanwhile, Quezon City’s bet, De La Salle University Volleyball Michele Gumabao, was named Miss MG.
Miss Mandaue candidate Lou Dominique Piczon won the Best National Costume award, while Iloilo candidate Rabiya Mateo won the Best Swimsuit award.
Meanwhile, Miss Parañaque Ysabella Ysmael was named Best in Evening Dress.
More than 40 candidates are competing for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. The coronation ceremonies will be held at the Baguio Country Club on Sunday, October 25.
