Just a month after the star was announced as CELINE’s new muse, MAC Cosmetics has recruited BLACKPINK’s Lisa as its new global brand ambassador. “For the love of Lisa! We are excited to finally announce Lisa as the newest face of MAC Cosmetics, ”the beauty brand writes in an Instagram post. The K-pop star follows Rosalía on the list of famous MAC ambassadors.
“The first MAC product I used was a lip product,” revealed Lisa in an interview with Vanity fair about the new collaboration, explaining that she has been a “big fan” and “loyal user for a long time.” The brand’s global creative director, Drew Elliott, added: “We were drawn to her confident, edgy and elegant style and her ability to take risks on behalf of fashion.”
While not much is known yet, the inaugural campaign image shows Lisa wearing Powder Kiss lipstick in “Mull It Over” and sparkling eye makeup achieved with “Stars ‘N’ Rockets” eyeshadow and Dazzleshadow. Liquid in “Diamond Crumbles”. Stay tuned as we learn more about the association.
