Well, it’s official: Emmys are the wrong place to The good place.
NBC’s comedy Beyond Life ended its four-season run without winning a single Emmy after appearing empty-handed at Sunday’s virtual ceremony. Despite a total of 14 nominations in four years, including a pair of nominations for Best Comedy Series and three nominations for Emmy favorite Ted Danson in the category of Leading Actor in a Comedy Series, The good placeThe Emmy trophy case will remain empty for eternity. (And an early warning for Better call Saul fans: AMC Breaking Bad The spin-off is in serious danger of facing the same fate, entering its final season with 39 nominations and zero wins).
The good news though: they have a lot of good company. In fact, some of the best television shows of all time never won an Emmy, from critically acclaimed prestigious dramas to sci-fi favorites.
