Heartbroken Kathy Bersola took to social media to speak peacefully about the relationship she had with her partner Fighting Maroon Bright Akhuetie.
Although Bersola and Akhuetie were simply calling themselves ‘best friends’ when pressured about their relationship, it was apparently more than that.

Bersola was with the PVL Banko Perlas team at the time, while Akhuetie was with the University of the Philippines.
“I found out that they were still together until December 2019, when the girl found out about me and broke up with him. I had no idea “.
The two would be together until August 2019 when Akhuetie broke up with her, allegedly saying that “he has a lot of problems and doesn’t want to drag her into any of them.”
Bersola and Akhuetie, both 24, continued to see each other, but the issue was never raised, according to the former.
On November 11, UAAP’s 81st MVP booked a ticket to return home to Nigeria and it was the PVL’s two-time Best Middle Blocker who drove him to the airport.
