At least two people were killed when a landslide occurred in Mahaplag, Leyte due to heavy rains from tropical depression Vicky.
The fatalities are seniors, according to the Mahaplag Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, two others survived after being rescued from the same landslide in Barangay Cuatro de Agosto.
Authorities said recovery operations are continuing.

A landslide was also reported at Sitio Tag-abaca in Abuyog.
Part of the road in Barangay Liberascion in Mahaplag was not passable due to a landslide.
The Panalian River overflowed before midnight, flooding the Panalian Bridge and the highway on the border of Abuyog, Leyte and Silago, Leyte del Sur.
PAGASA said moderate to heavy rains that can be heavy at times are expected over Visayas on Saturday.
