CEBU CITY, Philippines – The province of Cebu has gone another day without registering a new case of 2019 coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

At a press conference on Monday afternoon, April 13, 2020, the governor of Cebu, Gwendolyn García, said that the Department of Health (DOH) informed him that none of the 31 results of the Covid-19 test published by Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) were positive. .

This means that the number of cases in the province, including the cities of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue, remains at 34.

However, DOH in Region 7 has not yet released an update on the status of COVID-19 positive patients.

As of April 12, DOH-7 reported a total of 20 patients who recovered from the disease and six deaths in Cebu. / bmjo
