Kiefer Ravena may be, right now, doing his best inside the PBA bubble at Clark, but his phenomenal exploits can still be felt away from Pampanga.
Ravenna’s own Chooks-to-Go store in Cainta was opened on Thursday, with none other than another ‘Phenom’ in charge.
Alyssa Valdez, on behalf of her boyfriend and along with Kiefer’s mother, Mozzy, was present at the new store just outside their village, as Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. and President Ronald Mascariñas made good on a promise.
Ravenna was awarded a branch of her own due to her decade-long service on the national team.
At the beginning of the year, Ravenna had a Chooks-to-Go mobile tent that served as a test for a potential location in their village.
Since this was a resounding success, BAVI and Mascariñas saw fit to award him his own store outside of Town and Country Homes.
Now, Ravenna residents can enjoy Manok ng Bayan right from their doorstep.
Of course, the ‘Phenoms’ are grateful for this blessing. “Kief is sad that he can’t be here, but he’s grateful to Chief Ronald.” shared Valdez.
As another gift, Ravena and Valdez gave their branch’s first 200 customers a free Marinated Chicken when they purchase a baked roast chicken to take home.
Furthermore, the power couple is also letting their competitiveness shine through in this new venture. As the striker of the national volleyball team said, “Kief promises that this will be the best performing store in the country.”
As long as that becomes a reality, you can rest assured that your efforts will not be in vain. “We promise to give Kiefer more stores if he does well”, said Mascariñas, a staunch ally of Philippine sports.
Ravenna follows in the footsteps of Gabe Norwood and Paul Desiderio as athletes Chooks-to-Go store owners.
