Thirdy Ravena assured fans on Saturday not to worry as he continues to recover from COVID-19.
The former Blue Eagles player who now plays for Japan’s B League club San-en NeoPhoenix contracted the virus after a PCR test at the Toyohashi City Health Center on Thursday.
He did the test after feeling ill with a body temperature of 38.2 degrees Celsius.
He appeared in a good mood the day after the news.
“All good over here,” Ravenna said. “I appreciate all the love and concern over the last 24 hours.”
“I feel fine already, but I have to follow quarantine protocols indefinitely.”
He also reminded the public to be aware of their own safety.
“Just a reminder that the virus still exists so let’s not take it for granted. Stay safe, everyone! Much love,” said Ravena, who was receiving medical treatment at home, according to NeoPhoenix.
