Adams and Wong vow to do their best despite shortened rookie season – News | PBA

EVEN rookies can’t wait for the PBA season to restart.

Roosevelt Adams from Terrafirma and Rain or Adrian Wong from Shine hope to finally have the opportunity to play their first professional game with the Philippine Cup that will begin in almost a week at the Angeles University Foundation in Pampanga.

The fact that the season is played inside a bubble in a compact two-month period even made his rookie year all the more meaningful and special.

“All of us rookies are excited to show our energy on the court,” said Adams, the no. 1 in Terrafirma’s rookie draft last year.

“I’m pretty sure the rookies are excited,” seconded Wong, a first-round pick (No. 5) like Adams.
The two freshmen appeared on Saturday on former PBA commissioner Noli Eala’s radio show on Power & Play.
