Star Wars returns to Fortnite, but not for long

A day before the official celebration begins on May 4, Fortnite has brought back the Star Wars gifts. Only available for a limited time, they include lightsabers from some of the franchise’s biggest characters, as well as sets, emoticons, and more.

Four different lightsabers are currently available in the game supply store. These include Rey and Obi-Wan’s blue lightsaber, Luke’s green lightsaber, Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber, and Kylo Ren’s special red lightsaber, complete with his unique cross guard.

A “dark side” emote is now available for 200 V-Bucks, as are Kylo Ren’s masks, a red Sith Trooper, and Rey. Although they won’t give you any competitive advantage in Battle Royale, looking great can boost your confidence enough to boost your performance.

You won’t have much time to get the goodies before they leave again. The Star Wars Fortnite items will be gone on May 5, but the fun doesn’t stop with Fortnite. There are a ton of different offerings available in Star Wars games right now, including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and previous releases on Steam.

The offerings are available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and include popular games and smaller titles from decades ago. It’s also worth getting a month from Disney + to see The Mandalorian and all nine films in the Skywalker saga.
