HMS recently launched the HUAWEI Developers app, an open official platform for Huawei developers to manage the backend system of their apps, access the latest developer activities, and receive event notifications on the go.
Additionally, HMS will feature three Developer Community Programs at APAC this year, including HUAWEI Student Developers (HSD), HUAWEI Developer Groups (HDG), and HUAWEI Developer Experts (HDE) to assist developers of all skill levels to grow with the HMS ecosystem. APAC developers will also be able to enroll in training courses to learn how to implement HMS development tools in their applications and receive the “Huawei Developer Certification” upon completion of the course.
Adding value to application owners and developers with HMS
The HMS ecosystem has achieved rapid growth globally and is now the world’s three largest mobile ecosystem with more than 700 million global users. By the end of 2020, there are more than 2.3 million registered HUAWEI developers, an increase of 77% in one year.
Application owners who want to integrate their applications into the HMS ecosystem will be able to reach HMS’s strong user base through its hybrid multi-distribution platforms such as HUAWEI AppGallery, HUAWEI Browser, and Petal Search.
The latest version of HMS Core 5.0, consisting of 56 open capabilities and 12,981 APIs, provides comprehensive features to help developers easily integrate applications. Additionally, developers can also access local HMS technical teams to seek assistance during the process.
