SHINee is back with a bang! The quartet released their seventh full-length album Do not call me on February 22 with nine different tracks – Heart attack, Marry you, CODE, I really love you, Kiss Kiss, Body rhythm, Attention, Kind and the main track Do not call me. The official music video of Do not call me he’s here and he’s everything, Shawols expected from him and much more. The MV is powerful, elegant and dazzling or what Shawols knows as ‘The SHINee genre’.
The title track begins with Minho looking super stylish in a dark denim jacket, a stylish hat, and big, thick ties. Her flaming red hair, complementing the cowboy look. We move on to Onew, who looks amazing in a dark hoodie and patterned pants. Taemin appears below looking great in a trendy scarf and silver earrings. Finally, Key looks cute with flattened hair and a comfortable sweater, totally nailing the punk-rock look. The music begins to play, a powerful hip-hop track with beats and synth beats. The members sing and rap about being betrayed in love. The lyrics are powerful like, “If you love me. Please let me go. I don’t want it now.” and “I don’t know you, so don’t call me.” SHINee gives us a crash course on love and self-esteem through this elegant song.
According to a report by Soompi, the title track, Do not call me, is composed of Kenzie, Dwayne ‘Dem Jointz’ Abernathy Jr. and Rodnae ‘Chikk’ Bell. Kenzie has written the Korean lyrics for this addictive dance-based hip-hop track.
