More than 200 million doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered in at least 107 countries and territories, according to an AFP tally based on official sources as of 1000 GMT on Saturday.

About 45 percent of the injections were made in countries belonging to the wealthy G7 club, whose members promised on Friday to share doses more fairly with the most disadvantaged countries.

The G7 represents only 10 percent of the world’s population.
