MANILA – “Yes! Why did you take so long?
This was Dionne Monsanto’s response to her now-fiancé Bryan Stalder’s wedding proposal, the actress shared on Saturday when announcing their engagement.
Monsanto made the announcement via Instagram, with photos of her hugging Stalder while showing off her engagement ring. The snapshots were taken in Kandersteg, Switzerland, where Stalder is based.
Monsanto and Stalder began dating in 2018, he said, but have known each other since 2007, the same year he entered show business through the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother.”
“Eleven years of knowing each other”, Monsanto. “Grateful to have been friends first and to have watched us grow.”
“There is no better basis than friendship. Grateful that the universe has given me the kindest man that ever lived, “she said.
By tagging Stalder’s Instagram account, Monsanto added: “Forever + 49 years, my love.”
