How i was born with thick Eyebrows, I am lucky that I don’t need too many products for my bows. Before the pandemic, I relied on hair removal professionals to keep them groomed as they know the shape that flatters my face and they already know my ~ preferred ~ lewk.

But when the pandemic hit, my waxing shops closed; I had no choice but to prepare them myself or I’ll end up with a single brow, haha. I had never tried tweezing my brows at home before, but since I only see half of my face every time I go out, I thought it was a low-risk thing.

Since I don’t have the usual salon tools, I get by with the ones I have at home. A good pair of tweezers, an eyebrow razor, mini scissors, and a spool brush do the job for me.

Look at my simple Eyebrows routine below:
1. Brush the hairs and trim them to your preferred length.
First, I brush my brows with a clean spool. That way, it’s easy to check for hairs that are too long; I can just cut them out. Unlike typical scissors, this one from Shiseido has a curved angle, so it’s pretty easy to work with, even for a newbie like me!

2. Remove loose hairs with tweezers.
Once my hair is trimmed, I shave the ones below my brow for a cleaner looking arch. I make sure to tighten the skin when doing it so it is less painful. Also remember to always wax in the same direction of hair growth. I recommend investing in good quality tweezers like this one from Tweezerman. I’ve already been using it for * years *!

3. Clean the area.
Time to shave a little! I hold the razor at an angle and keep my skin taut. Then I gently run the blade through the areas with the loose hairs, this includes my unibrow. I make sure to perform this step with caution, always using a light hand and working slowly but surely.

4. Fill in the sparse areas.
Using my ~ reliable ~ brow liner, I fill in sparse areas with hair-like strokes to enhance the shape and make my brows look fuller. When I have extra time I clean the edges with concealer, but this step is optional. 😉

5. Put it in place.
To configure my Eyebrows instead I just brush my eyebrows. I personally love tinted gels as they make my arches look thicker. I generally use a shade lighter than my natural hair to create a softer look. If tinted brow gels aren’t your thing, a clear one will work well too.
