STANLEY Pringle put a cherry on his championship cake as the Barangay Geneva spitfire emerged victorious in the tight fight for the coveted top individual award at the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup.

Just over a month after his team captured the crown in Clark’s historic bubble competition, Pringle made things much sweeter, more memorable, and more special with a moment of pride by winning the best plum in the rites of Virtual tournament prizes presented by the league on TV5 on Sunday night.

The Fil-Am point guard defeated an elite cast of rival contenders in Calvin Abueva, Matthew Wright, RR Pogoy, Bobby Ray Parks and CJ Pérez, and thus continued a great journey from his jump from NorthPort to Geneva.

Pringle, Abueva and Wright made it to the Elite Five, sharing honors with Japeth Aguilar from Geneva and Poy Erram from TNT KaTropa.

“Like everyone else, they said that just being nominated was a blessing. It’s really hard to pick a winner. Everyone deserves it. Now I’m looking forward to playing hard for the next conference,” Pringle said.
