Anthony Taberna Shows Daughter’s Hair Growth After Leukemia Diagnosed
Radio journalist and commentator Anthony Taberna couldn’t help but feel happy now that Zoey’s hair is slowly starting to grow in just over a year after his teenage daughter was diagnosed with leukemia.
On Instagram, Anthony shared a series of family photos in which 12-year-old Zoey could be seen showing off her new look.
For the past few months, Zoey underwent chemotherapy and had all her hair cut off. Now she wears a hat, wigs to hide her insecurity and the hair extension.
Anthony is thankful that his daughter doesn’t have to wear them.
“There is no hood. No hair extensions. No wig. This is Zoey’s real hair. It’s a bit slow growth but a good start to the new year. Go go Zoey !!! You won’t be sad about your hair again, will you? We are Familia Taberna and we are #TeamStrong! ” he wrote.
On December 2, 2019, Zoey was rushed to the hospital when she complained of unexplained pain in her legs. After multiple tests, he was diagnosed with leukemia.
