Sinas orders administrative raps against PNPA cadet on New Year’s Eve

The Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Gen. Debold Sinas, on Friday ordered the filing of administrative charges against a cadet from the Philippine National Police Academy after he allegedly attacked a fellow cadet on New Years Eve. New.

According to the PNP-PIO, the initial investigation revealed that Cadet 1st Class Denvert Dulansi “mutated” Cadet 1st Class Joab Mar Nacnas on the roof of a school building at Camp Castañeda in Silang, Cavite.

“The PNP does not tolerate the bad actions of personnel who make mistakes and will never tolerate any misconduct, abuse or lack of discipline,” Sinas said in a statement.

According to the report, Nacnas warned Dulansi and two other first-class cadets, Guminigin and Tudlong, when he found them drinking an alcoholic beverage.

A heated discussion ensued that led to Nacnas being attacked.

Nacnas was rushed to Qualimed Hospital for treatment. He was later stated to be in a stable condition with no signs of internal injury based on CT scan and X-ray examinations.

Meanwhile, Dulansi was handed over to the Silang Municipal Police Station for investigation.

Because of this, Sinas has also directed the Doctrine and Human Resources Development Directorate to place all involved cadets under restraint while termination and dismissal procedures are carried out. -NB, GMA News
