The Brooklyn Nets are starting the 2020-21 NBA season with their full lineup, which means Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, two of the top 10 scorers in league history, are teaming up on the court.
Theoretically, the Nets have one of the most unstoppable offensive teams in the NBA today, and therefore should be considered a strong contender for the championship. However, Irving’s résumé of quirky comments and behavior can be a potential problem for the Nets’ locker room. Additionally, how much KD has recovered from an Achilles tendon injury also puts a big question mark on the future of the team.
