Nissan has not finished updating the Note yet. A month after unveiling the all-new model with its new e-Power configuration, the automaker has unveiled a new variant of the Note: the e-Power 4WD.
As the name suggests, this new Note comes with a 4WD transmission. This is an electric four-wheel drive system with four electric motors that drive all four wheels.
The electric motor at the front is complemented by a 50kW engine in the rear that supposedly generates “approximately 14 times the driving force of the previous model”. Nissan says this setup will provide power, stability and comfort even on slippery and snowy roads.
The 4WD system is also supposed to provide stable and powerful starting and acceleration even on wet surfaces. All four motors also promise high-precision deceleration, providing stability even during braking.
There are no additional cosmetic or mechanical changes other than what we’ve mentioned, so the 4WD Note will be basically the same as the 2WD model for the most part.

In addition to these, Nissan has also introduced the new Autech custom Note. This model sports a dot pattern front grille, new looking wheels and some metallic accents on the exterior. This exterior has a glossy blue finish that can also be had in white, both with a black cap. There are eight color variations in total.
Inside, Autech’s Note features a clean blue and black cabin. The synthetic leather seats are stitched in blue with some touches of black, while the dash has been covered in black plastic and soft-touch materials with some blue accents on the helm, side panels and center console, among others.
Lastly, Nissan has also revealed a new Note with a rotating passenger seat that allows for easier entry and exit. This will come in handy for passengers wearing skirts or kimonos, says Nissan. This can be specified in 2WD and 4WD notes.
If Nissan were to bring the Note to our shores, should these nifty additions accompany it?
