Kofi Kingston shares a photo of broken teeth after hard-hitting TLC match

WWE TLC resulted in New Day member Kofi Kingston losing pieces of his teeth in the Raw Tag Team Championship match against Hurt Business.

The Raw Tag Team Championship is the only thing Kofi Kingston lost at WWE TLC. Blunt tables, ladders and chairs also cost Kingston pieces.

“Hats off to @ Sheltyb803 and @CedricAlexander tonight. I’m still spitting bits out of my teeth. You’ve officially earned my respect. Good fight!” Kingston tweeted Sunday night after the WWE TLC PPV event. “Looking forward to the next one …” He also shared a close-up image of two small tooth fragments that he lost during combat.

Kingston and his New Day teammate Xavier Woods lost the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship to Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin of Hurt Business. The New Day received WWE Tag Team Titles when they were selected from Slap to Raw in October. They were previously SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but swapped those titles for the Raw couples belts, which were owned by Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of Street Profits.

Alexander and Benjamin’s victory in WWE TLC gives Hurt Business its second set of title belts, with new Raw Tag Team Champions joining reigning United States Champion Bobby Lashley.

WWE Monday Night Raw airs Mondays at 8 pm ET on USA Network.
