Manila, Philippines – The Immigration Office will now allow the re-entry of 9 (e) and 9 (g) visa holders who left the country on or after December 17.

Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said the 9 (e) visa holders are accredited diplomats, including foreign embassies and organizations, while the 9 (g) visa holders are pre-established employees working in the country.

The measure would allow those foreign nationals to return to their countries during the holidays and then re-enter the Philippines. But “those who left before December 17 still cannot enter the country,” Morente said. –TINA G. SANTOS
