TNT Tropang Giga hopes to return better and healthier for the next PBA season.

Though without directly making excuses, coach Bong Ravena believed that the injuries of two of his key players hurt the Tropang Giga cause in their PBA Philippine Cup bubble finals against the Barangay Geneva Kings.

Tropang Giga lost the best-of-seven series, 4-1, including the title win, 82-78, in which lead man Jayson Castro and top scorer Ray Parks Jr. sat on the bench due to various injuries. .

“Hopefully we can give ourselves a chance at the next conference and stay healthy,” Ravena said.

Parks hurt his left calf in Game 1 of the Finals and never played the rest of the series again, while Castro hurt both knees early in the third quarter of Game 4 due to bone spurs.
