Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) – Cebu Pacific (CEB) continues to inspire all Juan to travel again with the launch of its trademark Piso Sale from December 10-12, 2020.
This three-day #CEBSuperSeatFest offers flights to ALL domestic and international destinations for sale for just ₱ 1 one-way base fare, for travel from August 1 to November 30, 2021.
“Many of us are looking forward to experiencing the wonders of travel again, especially now that we are seeing more domestic destinations reopen to tourists. We firmly believe that the holiday season is the perfect time to share this gift with every Juan, ”said Candice Iyog, vice president of marketing and customer experience for CEB.
Guests are encouraged to use their travel funds to book new flights, CEB said. Online payments will be accepted all three days, while the payment center options will be available from the second day, he added.
A three-step approach to increasing travel confidence: sanitation and security, track and trace, testing
In this environment where health is part of safety, the Philippines ‘leading airline has introduced new sanitation procedures to ensure its customers’ needs are addressed so that all Juan can travel with confidence again. To boost travel and tourism, CEB strictly follows three key steps: sanitation, tracking, and testing.
CEB 7-Star COVID Safety Rating
CEB strictly implements its multi-layered approach to security, in accordance with global aviation standards, to ensure guests travel with peace of mind. This includes extensive daily disinfection of aircraft, frequent cleaning of passenger surfaces at the airport and during the flight, along with the presence of hospital-grade high-efficiency particulate (HEPA) air filters that have been shown to eliminate 99.99% of viruses.
These are on top of CEB’s enhanced self-service online channels that allow guests to easily manage their flights online, as well as update pertinent information that may be required when entering a destination.
There are also contactless flight procedures such as boarding pass scanning, mandatory online check-in and automatic bag tagging capabilities.
DOTr Traze App
The Department of Transportation recently launched a unified contact tracing application for the aviation industry and all other transportation sectors. This requires people passing through all airports in the Philippines to register with the app called “Traze” and scan QR codes in designated areas of airports.
CEB commends DOTr for launching this unique platform, as the operator believes this will result in a more efficient tracking initiative. CEB has been sending constant reminders to its employees and passengers to ensure that every Juan is informed of this requirement, which is aimed at making travel safe for everyone.
Affordable testing options
Currently, several local destinations require negative RT-PCR test results before entering, which is why CEB has made sure that the trip is affordable and hassle-free for all Juan. Passengers booked on Cebu Pacific and Cebgo can easily choose and book appointments with any of their three partner labs via https://bit.ly/CEBFlightReminders for just ₱ 3,300.
CEB has also recently piloted its Test Before Boarding (TBB) process for passengers flying directly from Manila to the city of General Santos during a two-week trial period until December 14. This initiative is the first of its kind in the country, allowing passengers to conveniently administer their antigen tests at NAIA Terminal 3 just hours before estimated departure time. The results are published in 30 minutes and only those who have negative test results will be able to board the flight.
“All of these collaborative efforts are a testament to how achievable the goals are when we all work together; We are confident that our industry will heal and grow as one in no time, so #EveryJuanWillFlyAgain, ”added Iyog.
