NBI Counter-Terrorism Chief Found Shot Inside Office, Dies In Hospital

MANILA, Philippines – The head of the Anti-Terrorism Division of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) died in hospital after suffering a gunshot wound inside his office in Manila on Monday night, authorities said Tuesday.

The Manila Police District Homicide Department identified the victim as Raoul Manguerra.

Police said Manguerra suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen inside the NBI-CTD office along Taft Avenue, Ermita at 11:39 p.m.
