Hong Kong

According to the South China Morning Post, Hong Kong, which has a population of just over 7.5 million, is now experiencing its fourth wave.

However, based on actual data, a third wave seems more likely to be taking place.

Whatever it is, according to Hong Kong CEO Carrie Lam, high-profile events involving dance venues continue to contribute to the increase in cases. Entertainment, entertainment venues, game centers and theme parks, karaoke rooms, mahjong rooms, and swimming pools are now closed. Gyms, lounges and restaurants will remain open but with additional restrictions. These new rules will apply for two weeks. This is the third time government employees have been told to work from home since the start of the pandemic. Kindergarten, primary and secondary schools have been closed until next year.
