Some of Jordan’s most notable releases have featured hints of pink, the Air Jordan 1 “Rust Pink” being one of the most memorable examples. And now, with the Air Jordan 1 Mid in hand, the brand extends a fairly similar aesthetic, covering the details of the construction in the aforementioned tonality.
This light pink wraps the profile through the Swoosh, a panel set on top of a frame of plain white leather. All around, black suede frames many of these elements, covering the toe, strap, heel and ankle flap. The wing insignia are adorned with matching flowers, while the laces and silk lining follow suit in a much more remarkable way.
