Visitors can climb the 15- to 18-meter observation decks at the Gundam-Dock tower for up-close views of the anime icon, while the statue will take different poses every half hour and light up at night, depending on the operator. of the facility, Evolving G Corp.

At the Gundam-Lab exhibit facility on site, a virtual reality dome was installed to simulate sitting inside the cabin of the 25-ton mobile suit.

The Gundam Factory Yokohama site was scheduled to open in October, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The site will be open until March 31, 2022.

Admission fees are 1,650 yen ($ 15.9) for visitors 13 and older, 1,100 yen for those 7 to 12, and free for those 6 and under if accompanied by a paying adult. Entering the observation decks will cost an additional 3300 yen per guest.
