Thirdy Ravena tested positive for COVID-19.
His B.League San-En NeoPhoenix team made the announcement Friday night.
According to the team statement, the 23-year-old was not feeling well and had a fever (38.2 degrees Celsius).
Ravenna was sent to the Toyohashi City Health Center for examination and later to a health center under the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
Friday morning he tested positive.
Fortunately, his fever had dropped to 36.9 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the sore throat that was bothering him had disappeared, while his sense of taste and smell had returned to normal.
Ravenna is currently in quarantine at her apartment.
The statement added that the entire NeoPheonix team, including Ravena, tested negative twice on their RT-PCR tests.
The entire San-En team is still awaiting the results of their last test on Friday night.
