Courteney Cox recreates the ‘Friends’ turkey head dance

“Since I am the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go. I hope it makes you happy,” the actress told fans before recreating the popular scene from ‘Friends’.

Courteney Cox is recreating an iconic friends time to help celebrate Thanksgiving.

In an Instagram video shared Thursday, the actress wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving before jokingly talking about being at the center of a GIF that goes viral every year.

In a scene during the “Everyday Thanksgiving” episode of friendsMonica Gellar from Cox dances with a turkey on her head. The moment seemingly resurfaces for the holidays, something Cox joked about saying she’s tired.

“I’m so grateful and also if I get one more fucking GIF of that turkey in my hand dancing like a fool, I’m just going to break up,” she joked before sharing her surprise. “Since I am the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go. I hope it makes you happy.”

Cox then filmed herself with a turkey on her head putting on sunglasses, as she moved towards him. friends the title song and a “Happy Thanksgiving” message was displayed on the screen.

Cox’s friends Co-star Lisa Kudrow commented on the video to applaud Cox. “You did that,” Kudrow said, while Reese Witherspoon wrote, “I love you sister!”

The funny moment was a special treat for the fans who are patiently waiting for the friends HBO Max meeting special, which has been delayed for months due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
