The Houston Rockets realized that James Harden wanted to leave the franchise and his mind was made up, but they weren’t ready to enter the trade toward their preferred destination.
Houston used to be “ready for trouble” with tough conditions.
“The impression I have of the Rockets is that their ambition, their goal, their hope is no longer to have a relationship with James Hardon and bring him on board,” Tim McMahon said on the Brian Windhorst podcast. “There was an understanding, you know, his decision was made. McMahon also reported what the rockets want for Harden.
