Jollibee opens new store in Abu Dhabi

MANILA, Philippines – Jollibee Foods Corp. continues its expansion in the Middle East with the opening of a new store in the United Arab Emirates.
Located in Abu Dhabi, the new store is the 48th Jollibee store in the Middle East and the 16th store in the United Arab Emirates.
“We are truly grateful for the continued support of our customers in the Middle East,” said Dennis Flores, JFC President for Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Flores said that while the homegrown restaurant chain continues to have the support of Filipinos in the Middle East, it is also increasingly seeing more locals and migrants of other nationalities coming to Jollibee stores.
“This shows that we are gaining ground in the core market, thereby increasing our customer base. We are excited to be able to serve more of our fellow Kababaians and local clients as we continue our growth and expansion in the Middle East, ”he said.
Jollibee is present in all six GCC countries in the Middle East, namely the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
Jollibee has more than 1,400 stores around the world, with more stores scheduled to open this year.
Overall, the Jollibee Group operates in 34 countries, with more than 5,800 stores around the world.
It has eight wholly-owned brands: Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, Mang Inasal, Yonghe King, Hong Zhuang Yuan, and Smashburger.
It also has three franchised brands, which are Burger King and Panda Express in the Philippines and Dunkin ‘Donuts in certain territories in China.
