On his social media accounts, Alonso posted a photo of the meeting saying that now everything is clear between Ángel and the general.
“In a meeting held today between the Head of the Southern Luzon Command of the AFP, Lieutenant General Antonio Parlade, Jr. and the actress Angel Locsin, the issues that emerged in recent weeks were discussed, including the accusations against her and her Sister Angela ‘Ella’ Colmenares, trite and clear, “said the lawyer.
“Ms. Locsin expressly denounces violence and terrorism in any form and supports all government efforts to maintain the safety and protection of its citizens.”
Alonso said Parlade said he appreciated Angel’s contribution to AFP and its advocates in helping the poor.
“For his part, Lt. General Parlade conveyed to Ms. Locsin his appreciation for her contribution to AFP and her continued advocacy to help the poor, the impoverished and the defenseless,” said the legal advisor.
