Arizona Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich has defended the state’s electoral process against allegations of fraud from the Trump campaign. – even when the president on Thursday erroneously claimed that the state will win “easily” – when Joe Biden was named as the winner days ago, in a historic turn for Democrats.

“It seems that Joe Biden to win Arizona“Brnovich said on Fox Business last night. “There is no evidence, no facts that would lead anyone to believe that the election results would change,” Hill reported.

The Hill went on to say: Presenter Neil Cavuto asked Brnovich about recent voting disputes currently being discussed in Arizona, including one in which a Trump campaign attorney claimed to have evidence that votes in the county of Maricopa had been “incorrectly rejected” and requested that the evidence be sealed.

Attorneys for election officials successfully argued that the evidence be left unsealed because the public “has a right to know how flimsy the Plaintiffs’ evidence is,” according to the Arizona Republic.

Brnovich dismissed the lawsuit as inconsequential saying: “We are literally talking about less than 200 votes that are in question and in doubt. So the reality is, even if it were possible for those votes to flip, those 200 votes, I don’t think it would make a difference in Arizona just because of the numbers.

“On election night, if you looked at the numbers, and a lot of people who are really good at politics and in the polls here had said that the president might come back,” Brnovich said. He claimed that the reality of the election is that Trump’s chances of returning to the polls were “highly unlikely” given the number of ballots he had left and the percentage he would need to make a profit.

According to Brnovich, fewer than 50,000 votes remain to be counted and the president would need to get 65 percent of them to win Arizona.

“What I mean, Neil, is that we have to deal with the facts and the evidence,” Brnovich said. “If there is a problem or you think there is a potential problem, the answer is, don’t wait until you are ready to file. If you have issues with people on the voter rolls, you know, other issues, you need to address those issues prospectively rather than react. “

None of that stopped Trump tweeted this morning:

From 200,000 votes to less than 10,000 votes. If we can audit the total votes cast, we will easily win Arizona too! https://t.co/3eZHjdZL98
