MANILA, Philippines – The La Mesa dam in Quezon City surpassed its 80.15-meter spill level Thursday morning, Manila Water said.
“At 9:20 am, the spill level of 80.15 meters has been exceeded,” the water concessionaire said in a Twitter post.
“La Mesa Dam [is] currently shedding, ”he added.

When the dam overflows, low-lying areas along the Tullahan River can experience flooding, according to Pagasa.
The following areas were identified by Pagasa as high risk areas:
quezon city
Fairview
Forrest Hills Subdivision
Quirino Highway
Sta. Quiteria
San Bartolome
Valenzuela
Barangay Ligon
North Freeway
La Huerta Subdivision
Malabon City
Typhoon Ulises is drenching parts of the country with heavy rains.
The wind signal from tropical cyclone n. 3 is still over parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.
