Ciara shares her daughter Sienna’s moving response to Kamala Harris’ historic White House win

Like millions of Americans, Ciara is enjoying the victory of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris.

The 35-year-old singer took a moment to take to social media with her three-year-old daughter Sienna as they celebrated the historic victory on Saturday.

With Ciara explaining that Kamala would be the first black woman to enter the White House, the precocious girl had a comforting reaction.

Sitting on Ciara’s lap drinking from a pink bottle, Sienna listens intently as Ciara begins to break the news to her daughter.

‘Yes-Yes mom, how amazing is it that the first female vice president is in the White House? And she’s also a woman of color, ”says Ciara, as the girl nods.

She continues: ‘It’s so powerful. We can do anything we set our minds to, right?

Representation: Kamala assuming a role that has been played by white men over the years speaks volumes for women and women of color everywhere.

Bright Future: The mother-daughter duo share their joy on the momentous day when Sienna says ‘Go ahead girls, go ahead everyone!’

Teaching Moment: Sitting with her only daughter on her lap, Ciara builds her little girl as they both say, “We can do anything we want to!”

Imitating her mother’s words, Sienna affirms’ Go! We can do anything we set our minds to!

Ciara then asks her to say ‘Come on girls!’ And Sienna responds, ‘Come on girls, let’s all go!’

The Goodies hitmaker then continues: ‘We did it Joe biden is the 46th president,’ and Sienna gets a little excited when he interrupts her saying, ‘And the Covid is over, yeah yeah!’

Quickly correcting her, Ciara explained that she wasn’t done before explaining, “But I think Joe Biden is the right person to get us back on track.”

Illusion: Getting a little excited, Sienna hilariously projects that ‘the Covid’ is over, before Ciara has to correct her.

Earlier in the day, she recorded a solo video in which she said she had “cried tears of joy.”

“We are tired, we want more, we want better, and I believe in this,” he said, while addressing the camera, once again also mentioning Harris’ historic victory.

She continued ‘we have more ways to go, but I’m excited about where we started and where we are going,’ as tears ran down her face.

Ciara also uploaded photos of her watching Kamala give her speech before introducing Biden as she wrote that she was ‘grateful to witness this moment’.
