San Miguel Corporation (SMC) is mobilizing its resources to quickly deliver much-needed food aid to the Bicol region and other provinces affected by Super Typhoon Rolly.

SMC President and Chief Operating Officer Ramon Ang said the company is initially channeling food products to Albay, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Quezon Province, Romblon, Marinduque, Laguna and Batangas.

The company, according to Ang, expects the number of food donations to increase as it expects to deliver aid to the worst affected provinces in the coming days.

“Right now, through our own people on the ground and in coordination with various officials, we are trying to move as quickly as possible to bring food aid to the most affected provinces,” Ang said Monday morning, just one day after super typhoon. Bicol region in batter.
