BLACKWATER begins a grueling schedule on Tuesday as the PBA Philippine Cup resumes in the Smart Giga Clark City bubble.
The Elite plunges into a fast-paced schedule comprised of six games spread over nine days as the PBA bubble resumes under new protocols recommended by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and the Department of Health (DOH).
As if the schedule wasn’t enough, Blackwater will kick off with a match against five-time defending champion San Miguel at 10 a.m. The Beermen are on a three-game winning streak.

Blackwater hasn’t played since Oct. 22 when they lost to TNT, 109-96. After one of their players was listed as a probable case, the Elite was isolated and two of their games were postponed as part of the precautionary measures implemented by the league.
Head coach Nash Racela said the team is more focused on the mental aspect as the Elite look to improve their card 2-3 and break a two-game slide.
“We played six games in nine days. I guess the preparation for the grueling program is more mental. It really is simply accepting the current situation and facing it head-on. I hope that at the end of the week we can say that we are ready, ”said Racela.
