Bea Alonzo gave her ideas on how to move on in a recent vlog, where her friends Angel Locsin and Neil Arce asked her for advice on how to be a ghost.
The actress described herself as the “ghost ambassador” and gave advice based on her personal experience, as seen in the video of the couple posted on Thursday, October 29.
Locsin and Arce gave tips for moving forward they found online and asked Alonzo to rate them. They also greeted her with a “happy anniversary”: it has been more than a year after her split from actor Gerald Anderson.
“You know I can’t believe [that] after a year, pagtatatawanan na lang natin (we’d laugh at this), ”said the“ One More Chance ”star.
The first tip was to post on social media so the other person can see it. Alonzo disagreed and stated that what you post should be for you.
You’re still thinking about him, which means you’re not giving yourself room to move on. You also live for him, ”he said.
(You are still thinking about him, it means that you are not giving yourself room to move on. You are still living for him).
“Ghinost ka somehow, binlock ka sa buhay niya (you were ghost, somehow, you were blocked from his life),” Alonzo explained, noting that you must block the person who blocked you.
For the second tip, “Don’t blame yourself,” Alonzo nodded and admitted that it took him a few months before he realized it.
She said she would add to the advice: “Don’t blame yourself, and also surround yourself with people who empower you.”
The actress explained that you tend to blame yourself because you didn’t get a chance to find out what went wrong.
“You feel like you don’t matter (you feel like you don’t matter),” he said.
Alonzo had conditions for the third piece of advice, which is “do not call or text.”
She said that if there was no third party involved, she would give the person a chance to explain their side.
When asked by Arce if he needs to speak to the other person to get closure, Alonzo said, “I think the closure is overrated.”
“But having the respect of talking to someone else for a breakup, I think iyon ang pina-ka is important (that’s the most important thing).
Alonzo agreed with putting his energy into work and said that “soul searching,” such as traveling after a breakup, could lead to a “relapse” when he returns to his routine.
She was against going to the house of the person who was cheating on you.
“Iyon-cheap from Napaka,” he said, adding that you should respect yourself. And similarly, do not allow that person into your home.
Alonzo said that the most effective thing for her was self-love.
“Once you decide to love yourself and live for yourself, not for someone else, there will be growth, forgiveness, acceptance (growth, forgiveness, acceptance will come),” he said.
The term “ghost” became a trending topic last year after Alonzo opened up about his breakup with Anderson. She said he didn’t bother breaking up with her, he just “started not talking to me.”
Alonzo opened up about his love life in a vlog last October and admitted that he is dating. She has been linked to actor Dominic Roque. JB
