MANILA, Philippines – The Filipinos will finally get to see Eduard Folayang in action again when Team Lakay legend takes on Australia’s Antonio Caruso on Friday at ONE: Inside the Matrix at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Folayang (22-9), the former two-time lightweight champion, hopes to get back in the title picture against Caruso (7-1) after losing to Pieter Buist in Manila last January.
Although the ONE Championship’s return to Singapore will remain free to viewership due to the pandemic, the stacked event will be broadcast live in many countries, including the Philippines.
The show will air live on One Sports + at 8:30 pm, while One Sports will broadcast the event with a delay the same day at 9 pm TV5 will also broadcast Inside the Matrix on Saturday at 11 pm
The event features six fights, highlighted by four world title matchups with Aung La N Sang defending his middleweight belt against Reinier De Ridder in the main event.
In the co-feature event, Christian Lee risks his lightweight belt against Iuri Lapicus.
Meanwhile, featherweight king Martin Nguyen makes a title defense against Thanh Le, while female strawweight champion Xiong Jing Nan will be tested by Tiffany Teo.
An atom-weight clash between Ritu Phogat and Nou Srey Pov will begin.
