From Tuesday night to Wednesday morning, Quinta’s exterior circulation will continue to bring light to moderate rains with sometimes heavy rains over Western Visayas, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan including Calamian, Cuyo and Kalayaan. Islands, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
PAGASA warned that floods and landslides can occur during heavy or prolonged rains in affected areas.
The meteorological office said the tropical cyclone wind signal over the Kalayaan Islands has lifted and they will still experience occasional gusty conditions along with the rest of Palawan, including the Calamian and Cuyo Islands and the coastal areas of Occidental Mindoro, Bataan and Zambales through to tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a strong breeze to near-gale conditions associated with northeast winds will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to northeast winds.
PAGASA also warned that rough to very rough seas will be experienced off the northern and western shores of Luzon, and that sea voyages will be risky in these waters, especially for small-boat boaters.
