Robredo, personnel in quarantine after exposure to a positive COVID-19 patient

MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Leni Robredo revealed Sunday that she and her staff are currently in quarantine after being exposed to a positive COVID-19 patient.

During her weekly radio show “Biserbisyong Leni” on DZXL, Robredo said that she, her USec chief of staff. Philip Dy and his staff were exposed to the patient last week.

“I was exposed to someone who was positive. So we followed the protocols (I was exposed to someone who tested positive, so we followed the protocols), ”said Robredo.

“We canceled our physical meetings on Friday and Saturday (we canceled our physical meetings on Friday and Saturday),” he said.

Robredo was originally scheduled to visit Lucena, Quezón, and Caloocan City this coming week.

“Hopefully we can make a swab. “Once they give us the go-ahead, we will continue, (hopefully they will give us a swab, so they can give us the go-ahead and continue our work),” said Robredo.

In July, eight members of Robredo’s staff tested positive for COVID-19.
