MANILA – After 4 consecutive days in which daily additional cases were less than 2,000, the Philippines recorded 2,057 additional COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the country’s total infections to 367,819, data from the health department showed.

Total recoveries amounted to 313,112, 442 more than the previous day.

The country has 47,773 active infections, of which 83.7 percent of patients have mild symptoms, official figures from the Department of Health showed.
