ASAP, SNL Twitter Trend: Which Show Got the Most Tweets?

Fans of “ASAP Natin ‘To” on A2Z and “Sunday Noontime Live” on TV5 took to Twitter to show their excitement for variety shows with more than 300,000 tweets combined.

Today’s episode of “ASAP” was packed with the biggest names in show business such as Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gary Valenciano, Sarah Geronimo, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. Other artists include Maymay Entrata, Kim Chiu, Iñigo Pascual, and Star Hunt Academy Boys. The boyfriends Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo; and newlyweds KZ Tandingan and her husband TJ Monterde also performed musical numbers.

By the end of the program, ASAP received 196,000 tweets.

SNL, TV5’s latest offering, generated 142,000 tweets after the two-hour show.

Former ASAP stars Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador and Catriona Gray entertained fans with songs and dance numbers. Joining in the fun was Donny Panglinan, Jake Army; TV5 stars including Maris Racal, TNT winner Sam Mangubat; Los Juanes; and SB19, the first P-Pop boy band formed by a Korean entertainment company (ShowBT).
