Apple’s Most Exciting iPhone 12 Update It’s Very Very Unexpected The company has revealed that it is now working on the same exciting update for Air Pods.

Just days after the iPhone 12 event, Apple introduced the exciting new MagSafe charging and accessories ecosystem, and the company filed a patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the heavily redesigned MagSafe Air Pods.
Branded by patented Apple, the new AirPods use a super slim folio case that snaps onto the back of the device (read: iPhone) using magnets. Apple shows a more traditional slim design with a flip top that connects in the same way. Then both devices are charged directly from the iPhone.

Apple tries to be obscure in describing these devices, but leaves a bit for the vent, which has a magnet that emits an external magnetic field that can be detected by a magnetic field sensor. And the whole idea is brilliant. Although airpod cases have become almost as iconic as buds, they are too small to lose / forget, large enough to carry uncomfortable ones in the same pocket. The flattering new magnetic design eliminates both of those problems that allow you to keep your airpods and iPhones together.
Patents never show the polished final design of a product and do not guarantee an open release. Magsafe Airpods are not smart and I hope they will arrive sooner rather than later when Apple releases its Magsafe accessories. After all, Christmas is coming.
